The 2nd Year 2013

To Friends and Family,
I will be coming back next year with round 2 of doing the 365 project. I am really excited and hoping to make it a more exciting year than the last. After leaving art school this year, I am looking forward to traveling more, creating more, and doing crazier projects than before. I can’t wait to start this project for a 2nd time and show you more and better work of mine. 2013 should be a great year and I can’t wait to see you all then.
Thank you so much for all your support!

The End.

This project by far has been one of the longest and hardest projects I have ever done. It has been by far the most rewarding. Taking a photo for every day of the year was the most challenging thing, and for me I tried to create a piece of art instead of just taking a random photo, which made it so much harder, but worth it! I would suggest to any one who is semi serious about photography to do this project because it will push you to become a better shooter and more rounded photographer. I have always loved photography, but after doing this project it challenged my love, and I'm glad to see I stuck it out to see how I have improved in my art over this year. Doing this project made me create some of the best work I have ever done, and I'm glad I can show all of you the progress in my work. If you ever think of trying this project I would say keep a list of ideas and just go for it and don't give up!

This year has been vary interesting from the start, but with out it I wouldn't have discovered so much about myself. I learned what true happiness meant over this year, and I think without this project I wouldn't have been able to find it. Art is what makes me mostly happy, and the want to create is what drives me further in my life, and with out that drive I don't think I could have made it at all. I have grown so much as a person by going through this year, I couldn't even imagine missing it, which I think a lot of my growing up had to do was to go along with this project. I was talking with Travis about how much this year has changed him and his life and I really find it to be beautiful  to see that we documented it in our own two ways. I can't wait to go reminisce through the pictures and the memories that were created this year and in our books. The changes in our lives I have come to find out have only been for the better, and I am so happy to see that.

I want to give a quick thanks to all the people who viewed my page and showed my work, it has been crazy to see the response of over eighteen thousand views and to see how many of those views were from other countries. I have to give a shout out to Travis for challenging me to this project and to his lovely new family, I love you guys! To all my friends and family thank you so much for helping me, motivating me and letting me take photos of you guys, you all inspire me and I want to let you all know that I love you! I will not ever stop creating for you guys, thank you all for all you have done for me, I would be lost with out you.  I love you all!

Sincerely,

- William Mark Sommer.
